Robi introduces RLMS to facilitate retailers’ business

Dhaka (Dec 9, 2020): Robi, a mobile network operator in Bangladesh, has introduced an innovative digital Retailer Liquidity Management Service (RLMS) to facilitate its retailers in availing Easyload anytime.

With the device, the retailers can be able to avail Easyload recharge anytime from anywhere in the country as advance to operate their business by simply dialing a USSD code, said a press release of the company.

Robi has reached an understanding with Mutual Trust Bank (MTB) & fintech company, YABX to run the service across the country smoothly.

This anytime, anywhere ubiquitous availability of liquidity for retailers helps achieve multiple objectives, including retailers access to immediate Easyload top-up, avoid ‘low balance’ and others.

The Robi retailers will also be able to choose their products from multiple options with loan for one to five days as per their business requirements.

Robi’s Managing Director and CEO, Mahtab Uddin Ahmed termed this initiative as an achievement towards digitalisation of the company’s network distribution.

MTB’s CEO, Syed Mahbubur Rahman said it is a great initiative to help retailers gaining financial independence for their businesses.

The advance limit for the retailers will be derived using YABX’s state-of-the-art decision analytics engine using advanced machine learning tools, he said.

Speaking about the service, Rajat Dayal, Founder & CEO of YABX said the YABX aims to help the retailers getting access to easy and affordable Easyload recharge options.
