Bangladesh Red Crescent Society gets new management board

A new committee of the Board of Management of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) has been formed for the period 2021-2023.

The new committee was elected by the votes of delegates from 64 districts and 4 city units at a programme held at the Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College auditorium in the capital recently, said a press release.

Md Nur-ur-Rahman has been elected as the vice-chairman of the new board of directors and Abdus Salam has been elected as the treasurer.

Md Mustaq Ahmed Palash, Dr Rokeya Sultana, Md Manjurul Islam, Alhaj Gazi Mozammel Hossain Tuku, Razia Sultana Luna, Dr Sheikh Mohammad Shafiul Azam, Sikder Nur Mohammad Dulu, Md Atiqul Haque Shamim, Arma Dutt, AD Shihab Uddin Shaheen, Professor D Chowdhury Mohammad Sarwar Jahan, Mofizur Rahman Bablu, were elected as general members of the board of management for the term 2021-2023.

The new managing board will manage all the activities related to the management of the organisation for the next three years.
