Robi to provide BUBT with low-cost internet for students

Robi Axiata Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) to proide its students with low-cost high-speed internet for online classes and exams.

Professor Dr Md Fayyaz Khan, the Vice Chancellor of BUBT, and Md Adil Hossain Noble, Chief Enterprise Business Officer of Robi, signed the papers on behalf of their respective organisations on Tuesday at the International Conference Hall of BUBT permanent campus in Rupnagar, Dhaka.

Professor Dr Md Fayyaz Khan thanked to Robi officials for their generous attitude towards BUBT.

Noble expressed his gratitude to BUBT for giving them this opportunity to provide the low-cost internet data pack to BUBT students.

“We believe that education cannot be stopped during the pandemic. Robi is a technology company and BUBT is also a university of technology, so the MoU of today will contribute to a wider participation of BUBT students in online classes and exams,” he added.
