DU Management FBS Club celebrates its first anniversary

Dhaka University Management FBS Club has recently celebrated its first anniversary with alumni social organisation and alumni association of Department of Management students.

To mark the anniversary of its establishment, the club organised a colourful event at the ballroom of Dhaka Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital, said a press release.

The official website of the club, managementfbsclub.com, was inaugurated at the event.

Chief executive officers of various local and international organisations, managing directors of several public and private banks, senior government officials at various levels, former chairman of University Grants Commission, vice-chancellors of several universities, former dean of Dhaka University Business Education Faculty and former chairman and senior teachers were present on the occasion.

Among the notable personalities, Professor Abdul Mannan Chowdhury, former UGC chairman and vice-chancellor of Chittagong University; Abdul Mannan Chowdhury, VC and former chairman of department of Management of World University; Khandaker Ataur Rahman, MD of Palli Sanchay Bank; Md Obaid Ullah Al Masud, MD of Rupali Bank; Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu, former Bangladesh national cricket team captain; Professor Mohammad Abdul Moin, dean of Faculty of Business Education of Dhaka University, addressed the function.

'Joler Gaan', a popular musical Bangla band, performed at the event.
