Bashundhara Ready Mix and Construction Industries starts operation

Bashundhara Ready Mix and Construction Industries Limited (BRMCIL) has launched its commercial operations on Sunday in Keraniganj of Dhaka.

Bashundhara Group Vice Chairman Safwan Sobhan officially inaugurated the commercial operations of BRMCIL at its manufacturing plant, said a press release.

“At present, around 2.5-3 crore cubic meters of concrete is required annually, which will increase 10 times in the next five years. Keeping this in mind, we will soon set up 20 more ready-mix units in different parts of the country,” said Sobhan.

Bashundhara Group’s existing capacity in the area of cement, steel, and imported stone has now taken on a different dimension with the addition of an automatic concrete mixing system (Unit-1) of 120 cubic meters per hour, the release added.

Besides, the concrete prepared at Bashundhara ready mix unit will be delivered to the customers under its own transport management after quality control in a state-of-the-art lab.
