Khulna Printing and Packaging Limited, which is listed on the stock exchange, has incurred huge losses.
The company’s net asset value has also turned negative. So, the investors in this company are in extreme uncertainty.
The company has posted a 9,700-percent increase in its losses in the second quarter ended on December 31, 2021 as against the same quarter last year.
Its losses per share stood at Tk 1.96 in the Q2, up from Tk 0.02 recorded in the same period a year earlier, said the company in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Thursday.
As of December 31, 2021, the company’s net asset value (NAV) per share stood at (negative) Tk 1.76.
Meanwhile, the company had consolidated losses per share of Tk 2.99 in the first six months of the current financial year (July-December).
The losses for the same period of the previous financial year were Tk 0.10. As a result, the company’s losses increased by Tk 2.89 or 2,890 percent.
