RAK Ceramic declares 12.50% cash dividend

RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited has recommended 12.50 percent cash dividend for its shareholders for the year ended on December 31, 2021.

The dividend payout was recommended at the company's board of directors meeting.

However, final approval regarding the dividends will come during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for March 31, 2022 on digital platform, said the company in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Thursday.

The company has reported EPS of Tk 2.12 and consolidated NAV per share of Tk 17.53 during the period.

The record date for the distribution of the declared dividend among the shareholders has been fixed as February 24, 2022.

There will be no price limit on the trading of the shares of the Company today (February 3) following its corporate declaration.

Meanwhile, the Company has informed that EPS has increased due to the revised and responsive business strategy taken by the management, sales have increased, improvement of cost of sales due to enhanced control on cost compared to previous year and reduction of tax rate as per Finance Act 2021.
