Bashundhara Kings Arena Orientation programme held

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has approved Bashundhara Sports Complex as the venue of Bangladesh Premier League 2021-2022.

Bashundhara Kings will play their first match against Bangladesh Police Football Club in Bashundhara Sports Complex on February 17, this year, according to a press release.

On that regard, Bashundhara Kings hosted a press meet-up on Wednesday to familiarise everyone with the facilities.

In the programme, Bashundhara Kings demonstrated Bashundhara Kings Arena facilities followed by a press conference and discussion session.

The guests in the press conference were - Md Imrul Hassan, president of Bashundhara Kings, Biddut Kumar Bhowmik, general secretary of Bashundhara Kings, Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin, office secretary of Bashundhara Kings, Engineer Mohammad Amanullah, project-in-charge of Bashundhara Sports Complex, it reads.

Md Imrul Hassan started his speech after a short video presentation of the Bashundhara Sports Complex.

The video included information of the entire project plan of Bashundhara Sports Complex.

Referring to the video, Md Imrul Hassan elaborated the vision of Bashundhara Group in sports industry. Bashundhara Group is aiming so that Bashundhara Sports Complex becomes the topmost sports complex in Asia.

He also pointed out the fact that Bashundhara Kings Arena is the first of its kind as Bashundhara Kings became the first club ever to have a dedicated home venue not only in Bangladesh but also in South Asian region.

He also indicated the exciting future ahead of where he informed that Bashundhara Kings Arena will be able to host FIFA Tier 1 matches and AFC Matches with proper floodlight capacity.
