Aramit Cement makes losses in Q2

Aramit Cement has made losses in the second quarter ended on December 31, 2021, as against the same quarter last year.

Its losses per share stood at Tk 2.15 in the Q2, where it made profit per share Tk 1.09 in the same period a year earlier, said the company in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Monday.

As of December 31, 2021, the company’s net asset value (NAV) per share stood at Tk 25.05 against Tk 29.13 as of June 30, 2021.

Meanwhile, the company had consolidated losses per share of Tk 4.11 in the first six months of the current financial year (July-December ’21).

The losses for the same period of the previous financial year was Tk 0.23. As a result, the company’s losses have increased by Tk 3.88 or 1687 percent.
