SIBL gets Bangladesh Innovation Award

Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) has recently received Bangladesh Innovation Award-2022 for innovating International Insta Remit (money in minutes).

Insta Remit is an outward remittance product that makes money transfer easier and safer from Bangladesh to over 200+ countries and territories through Western Union within the Bangladesh Bank's purview, said a press release.

SIBL got the award in the category of ‘Best Innovation– Finance Innovation in Banks’ by Bangladesh Innovation Conclave at a ceremony held at Le Meridien recently.

Zafar Alam, managing director and CEO of the bank, received the award from Salman F Rahman, private industry and investment adviser to the prime minister.
