Aarong opens 24th outlet at Banasree

Aarong, a lifestyle retail chain, opened its 24th outlet at Banasree in Dhaka on Thursday.

The address of the new outlet is: Bazlur Rahman Community Complex, 6-7 of Avenue 8, Block M at Banasree, said a press release.

The newly-built and designed 16,000-square feet space offers two levels of shopping for Aarong customers and features apparel, home décor, footwear, jewellery, and other product lines.

Customers will also find Aarong’s sub-brands — TAAGA, TAAGA MAN, and Aarong Earth.

The outlet was inaugurated by Dr Martha Chen, chairperson of BRAC Global Board, and Tamara Hasan Abed, managing director of BRAC Enterprises, along with other Aarong and BRAC officials.

“It is wonderful to see how Aarong has become a part of the lives of not only the people in Bangladesh but also of the people living beyond its borders who continue to patronise Bangladeshi crafts,” said Chen.

For a limited time period, customers at Banasree outlet can join the ‘My Aarong Rewards’ programme by making any purchase of Tk 5,000 and enjoy exclusive benefits.

Special measures have been taken to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Customers are required to wear masks, undergo temperature checking, and disinfect their hands before entering the outlet.
