ICB Islamic Bank returns to profit

ICB Islamic Bank Limited has returned to profit in the second quarter ended on June 30, 2022, as against the same quarter last year.

Its earnings per share (EPS) stood at Tk 0.15 in the Q2, up from losses of Tk 0.17 recorded in the same period a year earlier, said the company in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Sunday.

As of June 30, 2022, the company’s net asset value (NAV) per share stood at Tk (18.12) against Tk (17.86) as on June 30, 2021.

Meanwhile, the company had consolidated earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 0.02 in the first six months of the current financial year (January-June’22).

The losses for the same period of the previous financial year was Tk 0.32.
