Bengal Commercial Bank, Trust Bank ink deal on remittance service

Bengal Commercial Bank Limited’s clients can send remittances to any branch of the bank through Ria Money Transfer.

Bengal Commercial Bank Limited and Trust Bank Ltd have signed a sub-correspondent agreement recently, regarding the issue.

An official ceremony was arranged to mark the “RIA Money Transfer Sub-Correspondent Agreement” and the inauguration of the remittance service on September 15 at Bengal Commercial Bank's head office.

Tarik Morshed, managing director & CEO of Bengal Commercial Bank Limited and Humaira Azam, managing director & CEO of Trust Bank Limited were present at the ceremony.

Shahid Hossain, advisor to Bengal Commercial Bank Limited; KM Awlad Hossain, DMD & CBO; Md Rafiqul Islam, DMD & CTO of Bengal Bank; Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury, DMD & CBO of Trust Bank Limited.

AKM Nazmul Hossain, country manager, Bangladesh, of Ria Money Transfer was also present at the ceremony along with other high officials from all three organisations.
