ICMAB holds view exchange meeting with HR professionals

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) arranged a views exchange programme with Human Resource (HR) professionals on October 20 at a hotel in Dhaka.

The event exchanged professional views with senior HR experts and talent management partners and HR recruiting firms, said a press statement.

The aim of the session was to make a bridge between two professional groups to work together to achieve synergy in the corporate level.

The collaboration between HR leaders and ICMAB will bring positive value for the economy of the country. This close relationship with CMAs and other experts would help to achieve organisational goal. The overall activities of ICMAB were highlighted in the session, particularly the skills set of a qualified CMA.

Md Mamunur Rashid FCMA, president ICMAB presided over the programme. Imtiaz Alam FCA, FCMA, chairman, placement committee delivered the welcome speech while Md Munirul Islam FCMA, vice president ICMAB offered vote of thanks in the programme.

A presentation on the role of CMAs to the business was delivered by Dr Mohammad Zakaria Masud FCMA, professor & director (Academic Affairs), ICMAB.
