Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited on Monday launched a 45-day special campaign on, with an aim to increase technology uses and service quality across the country.
Mohammed Monirul Moula, managing director and chief executive officer of the bank, inaugurated the campaign titled 'Excellence of Asset, Friendship with Technology, the Islami Bank Everywhere' as the chief guest, at the Islami Bank Tower in the capital, said a press release.
Muhammad Qaisar Ali and Md Omar Faruk Khan, additional managing directors, addressed the function as special guests.
Abu Reza Md Yeahia, deputy managing director, addressed the welcome speech and Md Mosharraf Hossain presided over the program.
“Bangladesh has elevated among the developing countries under the dynamic leadership of the government. Islami Bank has been making a continuous contribution to the economic progress of the country through entrepreneurial development, job creation and poverty alleviation,” Mohammed Monirul Moula said.
He said Islami Bank was the top bank in the country in all indicators with a deposit of Tk 1,21,000 crore.
Moula urged the bank employees to work for improving the bank's asset quality and expanding digital services.
