Smart Technologies MD made advisor of IEBA

Education promoter and prominent businessman Mohammad Zahirul Islam has joined as a member of the advisory council of International Ethnosports Bangladesh Association (IEBA), an organisation representing 42 countries of the world.

He is the managing director of Smart Technologies (BD) Ltd (Sony-Smart), the official distributor of Japanese world-famous brand Sony in Bangladesh and a leading company in the country’s electronics, and information technology sector, said a press release.

Mohammad Zahirul Islam joined the organisation as an advisor receiving an invitation of the president of IEBA Dr Md. Nazrul Islam Khan (NI Khan), who was also the personal secretary of the Prime Minister, as well as founder and general secretary of IEBA Md Al Mamun.

This business leader, who is successful in various fields, has expressed his commitment to work with utmost sincerity to spread the traditional games of different countries in the national and international arena by properly fulfilling the new responsibilities assigned to him for the development of the sports sector.
