ICMAB seeks government assistance for its development

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has sought all-out support and assistance from the government for its further development.
It came up with the request when a delegation of the ICMAB led by its President Abu Bakar Siddique met Bangladesh Bank Governor Fazle Kabir at his office in the capital on Sunday, said a press release.
ICMAB president shared the governor about the overall affairs of the Institute and status of the chartered accounting profession, it added.
Among others, Past President of ICMAB and President of SAFA AKM Delwer Hussain, Vice President Md Mamunur Rashid, Secretary Kazi Muhammad Ziauddin, Treasurer AKM Kamruzzaman and Executive Director Muhammad Abdullah were present in the meeting.
