Dhaka School of Economics unveils book ‘Shotobarshya Bangabandhu’

Entrepreneurial Economists club of the Dhaka School of Economics on Friday unveiled a book titled ‘Shotobarshya Bangabandhu’ marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of the country’s independence.
The club also organised a seminar titled ‘Bangabandhu and Emergence of Bangladesh’ on the occasion, said a press release.
Eminent Economist Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad was the chief guest at the event in which several economist and academics were also present.
“With the Bangabndhu’s returning to the country on January 10, 1972, Bangladesh started enjoying independence in full swing,” kholiquzaaman said.
Now Bangladesh is progressing gradually, he said and added; “We need to work together for its further development.”
Prof Subrata Chattopadhyay from the University of Engineering and Management (UEM) in Kolkata, as a special guest of the seminar, said that Bangabandhu was the legendary leader in the practice of normative politics.
He lauded the publication of the book ‘Shotobarshya Bangabandhu’.
