Walton-CRAB Sports Festival: Evergreen claims third consecutive football title

Evergreen secured their third straight football title at the Walton-Crab Sports Festival 2024, defeating Dominators 2-1 in a thrilling final held at Paltan Maidan on September 29.

Moniruzzaman Ujjwal opened the scoring for Evergreen, followed by a second goal from Sarwar Alam, securing the win.

Despite the loss, Saiful Jewel of Dominators was named the Player of the Tournament, while Ujjwal took home the Man of the Match award.

The tournament saw the participation of 10 Crab teams. CRAB President Kamruzzaman Khan awarded the champion and runner-up trophies to both teams.

The 2024 Walton-Crab Sports Festival, which began in July, featured 11 indoor and outdoor disciplines, including Chess, Carrom, Speed Tram, Auction Bridge, Shooting, Marathon, Ludo, Football, Volleyball, Cricket, and Badminton.

The event concluded with the football tournament.
