Two banks, one NBFI offer dividends, a bank declares no dividend

Prime Bank Ltd, IFIC Bank Ltd, and IDLC Finance Ltd have declared dividends for the year ended on December 31, 2020.
However, ICB Islamic Bank Limited’s negative earnings decreased but didn’t declare any dividend during the period.
Prime Bank declares 15% cash dividend
Prime Bank has recommended a 15 percent cash dividend with a 37.6 percent increase in its earnings.
In a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange, the company reported consolidated earnings per share (EPS) of Tk1.61, up from Tk1.17 recorded a year ago.
Its consolidated net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk25.15, up from Tk24.67 and consolidated net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) was Tk1.33 in the negative, down from Tk1.64.
IFIC declares 5% stock dividend
IFIC Bank Ltd managed to recommend a 5 percent stock dividend despite a decrease in earnings.
In a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange, the company reported consolidated EPS of Tk0.70, down from Tk1.75 recorded a year earlier.
Its consolidated NAV per share was Tk17.18, up from Tk16.39 and consolidated NOCFPS was Tk5.30, down from Tk8.58 for the same period of the previous year.
IDLC approves 15% cash, 5% stock dividends
IDLC Finance has approved revised 15 percent cash and 5 percent stock dividends in line with the directives of Bangladesh Bank.
Earlier on February 18, the company declared a 35 percent cash dividend.
ICB Islamic Bank Limited offers no dividend
ICB Islami Bank did not declare any dividend for the year 2020.
In a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange, the company reported EPS of Tk0.28 in the negative, against Tk0.64 in the negative a year before.
Its NAV per share was Tk17.54 in the negative, down from Tk17.11 in the negative and NOCFPS was Tk0.07 in the negative, a sharp fall from Tk0.02 for the same period.
