Asia Pacific Insurance declares 10% cash dividend

Asia Pacific Insurance has recommended a 10 percent cash dividend to its shareholders for the year ended on December 31, 2020.

The dividend payout was recommended at the company's board of directors meeting, said the company in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Wednesday.

The record date for the entitlement of dividend is May 30 and Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for July 8.

The company reported earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 1.97 in December 2020, up 13 percent from Tk 1.74 in the same period a year ago. Its net asset value (NAV) per share stood at Tk20.63 Tk 19.66 during the period.
