Standard Bank declares 5% dividend

Standard Bank has recommended 2.5 percent cash and 2.5 percent stock dividend to its shareholders for the year ended on December 31, 2020.

The dividend payout was recommended at the bank's board of directors meeting, said the company in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Thursday.

The company said that its consolidated earnings per share (EPS) was Tk 1.08 for the year ended on December 31, 2020, as against Tk 1.50 for the same period of the previous year. 

Its consolidated net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk 16.67 as of December 31, 2020, and Tk 16.15 as of December 31, 2019.

The annual general meeting for the dividend approval is scheduled for July 29 on a digital platform.
