Power Grid posts 42% rise in Q3 earnings

Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) Limited's earnings has increased by more than 42% in the third quarter of fiscal year 2020-2021, compared to those in the same time of the previous year.

Its EPS stood at Tk 1.41 in Q3 (July-March) of this fiscal year, up from Tk 0.99 in the corresponding period a year ago, said the company in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Thursday.

Its consolidated net operating cash flow per share was Tk 13 in the nine months of the current fiscal year, which was Tk 11.89 in the same period a year earlier.

Its NAV per share was Tk 122.16 as of March 31 this year and Tk 106.37 as of March 31 last year.

Listed on the country's stock exchanges in 2006, the state-owned company PGCB is making profits on a regular basis.
