Eastern Insurance declares 20% dividend

Eastern Insurance has recommended 20 percent cash dividend to its shareholders for the year ended on December 31, 2020.

The dividend payout was recommended at the company's board of directors meeting.

In a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange on Sunday, the company reported earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 3.33 and net asset value (NAV) per share of Tk 47.33 during the period.

The final approval regarding the dividend will come during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for July 29 on a digital platform.
