Q3 earnings of Tas Gas rises

The Q3 (January-March) earnings of Titas Gas Transmission & Dist Co Ltd has increased by 40.81 percent.
In a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange on Sunday, the company said that its earnings per share (EPS) was Tk 0.69 for January-March 2021 as against Tk 0.49 for the same period of last financial year.
It also said that its EPS was Tk 2.12 for July 2020-March 2021 as against Tk 2.11 for July 2019-March 2020.
The net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) was Tk 4.41 in the negative for July 2020-March 2021 as against Tk 5.19 for the same period of previous financial year.
Meanwhile, the company’s net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk 70.91 as of March 31, 2021, and Tk 71.39 as of June 30, 2020.
Titas said that the significant change in NOCFPS is due to relative payments against purchase liability in respect of the collection against gas sales.
It was very much higher than that of the previous year.
