Standard Chartered, Robi launch co-branded credit card

Standard Chartered Bank and Robi Axiata Limited have recently launched a co-branded credit card to provide innovative services to enterprise business customers.
An agreement has already been signed in this regard between the two companies, which also bolsters their ongoing collaboration on smart analytics, data science, and other areas of digital technologies, a press release from Robi reads.
Robi’s Managing Director and CEO Mahtab Uddin Ahmed and Standard Chartered’s Chief Executive Officer Naser Ezaz Bijoy recently signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at the Robi Corporate Head office in Gulshan.
Both corporate leaders expressed their keen interest to jointly explore innovative digital solutions to serve their customers better, the press release further reads.
“Our enterprise business customers are spreading their wings both home and abroad. This is rapidly changing their business and creating special needs that traditional product offers can’t satisfy,” Robi CEO Mahtab said.

Among others, Robi’s Chief Enterprise Business Officer Md Adil Hossain Noble, Vice President of Enterprise Business Fahmidul Hasan, General Manager Nafiz Ahmed Sayed, and Key Account Manager Taskina Islam, were present on the occasion. Standard Chartered’s Head of Retail Banking Sabbir Ahmed, Head of Cards Sohail Alim, and Head of Unsecured Products Tawfique Imam were also present at the signing ceremony.
