Former Defense Secretary KM Ehsanul Haque (Peyara), 76, passed away on Saturday. He breathed his last in a hospital at Saint Louise in the USA.
He was suffering from various health complications.
Late Ehsanul Haque left behind his wife Najma, daughters – Tumpa and Tatum and many relatives and friends to mourn his death.
He joined Pakistan Taxation Service in 1969 and thereafter rose to the rank of Secretary to the Bangladesh government before his retirement in 2004.
