Karnaphuli Insurance’s Q1 earnings increase

The first quarterly (January-March) earnings of Karnaphuli Insurance Company Ltd increased by 25 percent. 

In a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange on Monday, the company said that its earnings per share (EPS) was Tk 0.45 for January-March 2021 as against Tk 0.36 for the same period of last year.

Meanwhile, its net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk 19.27 as of March 31, 2021, and Tk 18.05 as of March 31, 2020.

The company last offered a 10 percent cash dividend to its shareholders back in the year 2019. The adjusted opening price of each of its shares during Monday’s trade was Tk 42.7.
