LankaBangla Finance’s Q1 earnings rise

The first-quarter (January-March) earnings of LankaBangla Finance Ltd has increased by 215.38 percent.
In a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange on Tuesday, the company said that its consolidated earnings per share (EPS) was Tk 0.41 for January-March 2021 as against Tk 0.13 for the same period of the previous financial year.
Meanwhile, its consolidated net asset value (NAV) per share stood at Tk 19.15 as of March 31, 2021, and Tk 18.73 as of March 31, 2020.
In the year 2020, LankaBangla Finance offered 12 percent cash dividend to all of its shareholders. During Tuesday’s session, the adjusted opening price of the company was Tk 34.9.
