Samata Leather’s Q2 earnings plunge

The second quarterly (October-December) earnings of Samata Leather Complex Ltd have decreased by 60 percent. 

In a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange on Wednesday, the company said that its earnings per share (EPS) was Tk 0.02 for October-December 2020 as against Tk 0.05 for October-December 2019

Meanwhile, its net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk 14.32 as of December 31, 2020, and Tk 14.39 as of June 30, 2020.

The company last offered 2 percent cash dividend to its shareholders back in 2019. The adjusted opening price for each of its shares was Tk 71.3 during Wednesday’s session.
