ICAB launches automation of examination management system

The Institute of Chartered Accounts of Bangladesh (ICAB) on Monday launched automation of its examination management system.
Post and Telecommunication Minister Mustafa Jabbar was the chief guest at the inauguration event, said a press release.
"New generation of the country have to prepare them to lead the fourth industrial revolution era. For that, we have to have in-depth knowledge in ICT and skilled manpower to develop new technologies like robotic machines," he said.
Urging to make the CA education digital, he said, all parts of the country will be connected with internet broadband networks.
The minister said automation of the examination system will enable the students to complete their examination process easily.
Lauding ICAB’s rigorous initiatives to make the institute digitised, he said, languages other than English only can be used in Apple computers in the 90s.
Steve Jobs paved the way for using Bangla Language in Apple computers. This encouraged him to introduce Bijoy software, the minister said.
Later Bijoy software created a revolution in the publishing industry in the country, and ended the era of the lithography system, he added.
ICAB President Mahmudul Hasan Khusru, Vice-President Md Abdul Kader Joaddar and other members were present in the event, said the release.
