ICAB hosts webinar on environmental, corporate governance

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) on Saturday organised a webinar on ‘Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG)-Global Perspective’, said a statement.

The resilience of environmental and social threats would ensure more productivity of the industry, enhance the employee’s contribution to the development of the economy, speakers observed.

So, the sustainability of the company depends on how a company manages its relationships with employees, suppliers, customers, and the community, they said.

Local Government Rural Development and Co-operatives Minister Md Tazul Islam, ICAB President Mahmudul Khusru, and former President ICAB Nasir Uddin Ahmed, among others, attended the event.
