To meet the growing passenger demand, Emirates has announced it will operate double the daily flights to Dhaka starting December 14.

The added services will offer customers enhanced connectivity to more than 95 destinations within Emirates’ growing network, via Dubai, reads a press release.

Emirates’ additional flight EK585 will be operated utilising the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The flight will depart Dhaka at 01:00hrs and arrive in Dubai at 4:35hrs local time, the following day. The return flight EK 584 will depart Dubai at 16:45hrs and arrive in Dhaka at 23:00hrs local time.

Tickets can be booked on emirates.com, Emirates sales offices, or via travel agents.

Dubai is now open for international business and leisure visitors.

Emirates has taken a number of initiatives to bring back passengers’ confidence in air travel to ensure their safety, which include multi-risk travel insurance and Covid-19 cover, flexible booking policies, and health and safety measures.

Emirates is the first airline to offer multi-risk travel insurance and Covid-19 cover for their customers. This cover is offered by Emirates on all tickets purchased on or from December 1, 2020, at no cost to customers.

In addition to coronavirus medical cover, this latest offer from Emirates also has provisions for personal accidents during travel, winter sports cover, loss of personal belongings, and trip disruptions due to unexpected air space closure, and travel recommendations or advisories, similar to other multi-risk travel insurance products.

The airline also offers flexible booking policies to customers — those who purchase an Emirates ticket for travel on or before June 30, 2021, can enjoy generous rebooking terms and options, if they have to change their travel plans. Customers have options to change their travel dates or extend their ticket validity for two years.

Emirates has implemented a comprehensive set of measures at every step of the customer journey to ensure the safety of its customers and employees on the ground and in the air, including the distribution of complimentary hygiene kits containing masks, gloves, hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes to all customers.
