Close illegal clinics, diagnostic centres within 72hrs: DGHS

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has ordered the authorities to close all illegal clinics and diagnostic centres across the country within the next 72 hours.
The DGHS took the decision during a meeting on Wednesday but no formal announcement in this regard has come yet, said a source.
The clinics and diagnostic centers that have not applied for license will be considered as illegal, according to the source.
There are around 11,000 legal clinics and diagnostic centres in the country at present.
