Bangladesh records one Covid death, 32 new cases in 24hrs

The health authorities reported one more death from Covid-19-linked and 32 related cases in the last 24 hours till Friday morning.
With the new death, the country's total fatalities rose to 29,467 and caseload to 2,043,913, according to a handout of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily case positivity rate of the virus declined to 4.31 percent which was 4.35 on Thursday.
However, the recovery and death rates remained unchanged at 98.38 and 1.44 percent, respectively.
Bangladesh registered its highest daily caseload of 16,230 on July 28 in 2021 and its highest number of fatalities of 264 on August 10 in the same year.
