Dhaka stocks opened marginally higher on Sunday morning following fresh highs in the previous session.
The benchmark DSEX index edged up over 3 points or 0.06 percent at 5,098 while the DSES index gained over 5 points or 0.47 percent at 1,175 and blue chip DS30 index rose 8 points or 0.45 percent at 1,783.
Stocks saw mostly higher as out of issues so far traded, 116 advanced, 98 declined and 85 remained unchanged. The turnover stood at Tk 134 crore.
The most traded stocks so far are City Bank, Beximco, Rupali Insurance, Walton, Fortune Shoes, IFIC Bank and Marico Bangladesh.
