Profit-booking pushes stocks down

Dhaka (December 15, 2020): Dhaka stocks fell in mid-session on Tuesday after investors went for booking profits from the early gains.
The market opened positive in tandem with the fourth consecutive session of rally but entered the red zone in mid-session as the risk-averse investors opted for booking profits.
At 12:10pm, the benchmark DSEX index lost 11 points or 0.21 percent at 5,135 while the DSES index was down 2 points or 0.20 percent at 1,190 and blue-chip DS30 index saw fractional drop of 0.75 point or 0.03 percent at 1,812.
