Stocks slip into red at open

Dhaka stocks opened lower on Thursday, after witnessing profit-booking fall in the previous session.
However, the market started the day on a positive in very early trade before entering the red territory.
The benchmark DSEX index lost 18 points or 0.35 percent at 5,104, while the DSES index was down 6 points or 0.51 percent at 1,179 and blue-chip DS30 index dropped 12 points or 0.66 percent at 1,793.
Out of 356 issues so far traded, 123 advanced, 103 declined and 82 remained unchanged.
