The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) signed an Application Program Interface (API) sharing deal with United Financial Trading Company Ltd (UFTCL) on Sunday.
With this, UFTCL went a step further in providing better services to its consumers, a press release says.
CSE Managing Director Mamun-ur-Rashid and UFTCL Chairman Abdul Awal signed the deal on behalf of their respective organisation.
Mamun-ur-Rashid said that CSE will eventually bring all dual trekholder companies under its services.
Among others, Deputy General Manager and Head of Information Technology Services of CSE Hasnain Bari, UFTCL Director Hassan Zabed Chowdhury and other senior officials from both organisations were present during the signing ceremony.
Several TREC holder companies have already applied to the CSE for transactions through their own Order Management System (OMS) by connecting with the Millennium Matching Engine API. Of these, four TREC holder companies have already signed the agreement.
Top brokerage Lankabangla Securities Limited and CSE first executed this deal in 2015. Since then, Lankabangla Securities Limited has been successfully completing transactions at CSE through its own Order Management System (OMS).
