Forex reserve crosses $43bn-mark for 1st time

Foreign exchange reserves crossed the $43 billion-mark for the first time in the country’s history riding on steady inflow of remittances.
Reserves stood at $43.17 billion as of Wednesday.
From December 1-29, the country recorded $1.912 billion in remittance.
For the same period last year, remittance was $1.597 billion.
