Dhaka (Oct 31, 2020): The foreign exchange reserve has crossed the $41 billion-mark for the first time in Bangladesh riding on inflow of inward remittances and export receipts.
Forex reserves stood at $41,120 million as of Thursday, according to Bangladesh Bank.
Sirajul Islam, executive director and the spokesperson of the central bank, said the reserve is increasing due to a rise in inward remittances amid the pandemic.
