Eastern Bank sees 93% increase in Q3 earnings

The Eastern Bank Ltd has recorded a 93 percent increase in its earnings.

In a statement published on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Sunday, it said that the consolidated earnings per share (EPS) of the bank was Tk1.70 for July-September (Q3) of 2020, as against Tk0.88 for the same period last year.

It also said that the consolidated EPS was Tk3.64 for January-September 2020 as against Tk2.83 during the same time a year ago.

Meanwhile, consolidated net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) was Tk12.48 for January-September 2020 as against Tk5.02 in the corresponding period last year.
