FAS Finance’s earnings plunge further, offers no dividend

The earnings per share (EPS) of the FAS Finance & Investment Limited has declined further to Tk10.12 in the negative for the year ended on December 31, 2019, as against Tk0.16 in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The Board of Directors of the company has recommended no dividend.

The company made the disclosure in a statement on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Sunday.

In the statement, the company has also reported that its consolidated net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk1.93 and the consolidated net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) was Tk8.49 for the year ended on December 31, 2019, as against Tk12.05 (restated) and Tk9.15 (restated) respectively during the same period a year ago.

Following the corporate declaration, there will be no price limit on the trading of the shares of the company. However, the floor price set by the Bangladesh Securities Exchange Commission (BSEC) will be applicable accordingly.

The annual general meeting of the company is scheduled to take place on December 28 on a digital platform.
