Stocks see mixed trend in early trading Sunday

Dhaka stocks witnessed a mixed trend in early trading on Sunday.

In the first hour of the trade, the benchmark index DSEX gained 3 points or 0.06 percent to 4,872. It reached a maximum of 4,889 points at 10:19am.

Meanwhile, the shariah based DSES index fell 1.6 points or 0.14 percent to 1,117. It reached a maximum of 1,121 points at 10:19am.

The blue-chip DS30 Index rose about 1.59 points or 0.09 percent to 1,691. It reached a maximum of 1,698 points at 10:19am.

During this first hour, the volume of trade in value stood at Tk206.77 crore, led by mostly pharmaceuticals and insurers.

Of the issues traded, 78 declined, 147 advanced while the value of 99 stocks remained unchanged.
