Stocks open lower

Dhaka stocks opened lower on Monday in line with the previous session.

As of 12:30pm, the key index DSEX shed around 3 points or 0.07 percent to 4,878. 

Among other indices, the Shariah based DSES Index fell 2 points or 0.22 percent to 1,118 and the blue chip index DS30 dropped 4.5 points or 0.26 percent to 1,694.

In two hours and a half, the volume of trade-in value was Tk 478.82 crore.

Of the issues traded, 100 declined, 114 advanced while the value of 127 stocks remained unchanged.
