Mill gate price of Soybean and palm oil reduced by Tk2 per litre

Edible oil traders, after a meeting with the Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, declared reducing the price of soybean oil and palm oil by Tk2 per litre. 

With the revised rate, Soybean oil will be sold at Tk90 and palm oil at Tk80 from now on, Public Relation Officer of Ministry of Commerce Abdul Latif Bakshi said. 

The meeting between the minister and traders took place at the Secretariat today. 

Data from Trading Corporation of Bangladesh shows that the price of soybean oil increase by nine percent in last month. Earlier on Wednesday, per litre of Soybean oil was sold at Tk90-94. 

Just a month ago, a litre of soybean oil cost Tk82-87.
