EHL share price down 2.25% on dividend declaration

Eastern Housing Limited (EHL) has announced that its board of directors has recommended 15 percent or Tk 1.5 cash dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2021.

Following the dividend declaration EHL share price closed 2.25 percent down at Tk 56.4 apiece on Dhaka Stock Exchange on Thursday.

The record date for the payment of dividend is October 7, 2021.

EHL in a post on DSE said its earnings per share has increased to Tk 3.98, up from Tk 3.12 a year ago. Net asset value per share also rose by 12.58 percent to Tk 70.33 from Tk 62.47 in the previous year.
