Renata declares 155% dividend

Renata has recommended 145 percent cash and 10 percent stock dividend to its shareholders for the year ended on June 30, 2021.

The dividend pay-out was recommended at the company's board of directors meeting.

However, final approval regarding the dividends will come during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for December 18, 2021 on digital platform, said the company in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Sunday.

The company has reported EPS of Tk 51.94 and consolidated NAV per share of Tk 263.85 during the period.

The record date for the distribution of the declared dividend among the shareholders has been fixed as November 15.

The Company has also informed that Bonus share has been recommended in view to utilize its retained amount as capital for manufacturing facility expansion.

It also reported that Bonus shares was not declared from capital reserve or revaluation reserve or any unrealized gain or out of profit the earned prior to incorporation of the Company or through reducing paid up capital or through doing anything so that the post-dividend retained earnings become negative or a debit balance.

There will be no price limit on the trading of the shares of the Company today (October 24) following its corporate declaration.
