Gold price increases in Bangladesh

The price of gold increased in the local markets to comply with the price climbing trend in the international market.

Considering the overall situation, coronavirus and other complexities in the international market, the Bangladesh Jewellers Association increased the price, accoridng to a statement issued Friday.

From Saturday, the new price of gold increased by Tk 2,333 per bhori, and will be available at Tk 74,300 (22-carat). Besides, the price of 21-carat gold is set at Tk 71,150 per bhori, and 18-carat gold is at Tk 62,402.

However, the price of silver remains unchanged.
