Stocks open in red

Dhaka stocks started trading with a negative note on Sunday, in line with the previous session’s downward trend.

In the first 30 minutes into the trade, the benchmark DSEX index has decreased over 32 points or 0.46 percent.

Other indices, the shariah-based DSES index was down by 6.97 points or 0.48 percent and the blue-chip DS30 index decreased by 14.90 points or 0.57 percent.

Over Tk 113 crore worth of shares traded so far in the DSE index, where ACMEPL, One Bank, IFIC Bank, PTL, and Beximco were the top five traded stocks.
